THROUGH THE ROOF Youth Arts Festival, Auckland

  • Aotea Centre (Hunua Room) 50 Mayoral Drive Auckland, Auckland, 1010 New Zealand (map)

Acknowledge the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities for 2023 by joining us at Through the Roof Auckland - a radically inclusive Youth Arts festival.

Celebrating the unique and diverse talents of young people from Glass Ceiling Arts Collective’s youth programmes in Tāmaki Makaurau, Whangārei and Hikurangi, Through the Roof is set to be a day to remember! This free event will see a morning of inclusive performances with something for absolutely everyone. From musical theatre to pop, dance to rip roaring comedy and a live band to boot, get ready to have a morning of sheer joy!

After a lunch break, we will present the world premiere of our 8 new youth films. Devised and created by our youth participants, these films are set to give you the warm fuzzies as young people get to tell their stories their way.

Come celebrate inclusion as we smash the barriers to participation and bring together a glorious community of likeminded young people sharing their love of performing arts. Prepare to be entertained!
