Lockdown tips from Grace
Grace is one of the young stars of Glass Ceiling’s up-coming Peter Pan Jr. youth musical. Grace and all the other cast members were enjoying weekly rehearsals when the COVID-19 pandemic struck and New Zealand went into Level-4 lockdown. Ouch!
But the show must go on! Now, every Saturday in living rooms across Auckland, our fantastic and adaptable cast meet up for rehearsals using the Zoom conferencing application. So, please do mark a place in your “virtual” diary to see Grace and all her mates in Peter Pan Jr, once things go back to normal.
And in the meantime, here are few words from Grace which are sure to help us all get through these strange times.
Day lost count in lock down, but I know it has been a while! The situation in NZ finally got a lot better and the alert level has gone down to level 3, a lot of people are super satisfied with the fast food they got!
For me, lockdown hasn’t been super harsh as I enjoy staying at home a lot. I think I am naturally good at coping with quarantine! I have set myself goals such as doing more readings and use this time wisely to make myself more intelligent.
If you are feeling bored or getting no motivation during quarantine, here are some tips for ya:
remind yourself that quarantine IS NOT a holiday!
set yourself an achievable goal
schedule your day wisely
and try your best to achieve your goal
slightly change your schedule if needed
put your phone away while working/studying it really helps
Finally I hope you guys are all staying safe and positive! Remember to make everyday worth!
